The short version lives here: what the situation was and what changed. Where a full write-up exists — photographs, equipment lists and the reasoning — you'll find a link through to the site of the ARK business that did the work.
A one-acre property in Warsash asked an open question: what could make the house smart? We started with the infrastructure, not the gadgets — traced and tested every existing cable, built a central rack, and put nine access points, seven cameras and Home Assistant on top of it.
A precision manufacturer's ageing flat network was causing daily dropouts on the shop floor. We redesigned and replaced it in phases, working out of hours so production never stopped.
A professional services firm had every client file on one failing server. We migrated them to Microsoft 365 over a weekend, added monitored backup, and retired the hardware.
A Cosham household needed one network to carry Wi-Fi, cameras, access control and storage — with security designed in from the start rather than bolted on afterwards.
Thick Victorian walls in Fareham meant the usual mesh-kit approach had already failed. We cabled the house properly and put access points where the building actually needed them.
A garden office in Whiteley needed a real connection, not a repeater. We ran a buried cable the length of the plot and terminated it properly at both ends.
A Gosport home wanted cameras that would actually identify someone, not just record the roofline. We positioned six cameras for usable footage and wired the doorbell so it never misses a delivery.
St. Philip Howard Church needed streaming that volunteers could run unaided. Three cameras, direct audio and a dedicated broadcast computer — all controlled by five physical buttons.
A busy dental practice ran on shared logins, which meant no accountability and weak data protection. We moved every user to their own secure identity without disrupting a single clinic day.
A Fareham village hall has different hirers every day. We designed an AV system that anyone can operate confidently, with the equipment they could misconfigure locked away from them.
Fresh write-ups picked up from the ARK business sites.
See how ARK Home relocated Starlink, reused an existing UniFi Wi-Fi system and connected a Winchester outbuilding without digging up the driveway.
